Experiment #1: Completely Unexpected Results

Updated: Jul 2

In my very first blog, I mentioned how there have been many claims made about the power of pyramids, but very little evidence to actually back them up. There is one exception to this--or at least, the only one that I am aware of. In my opinion, this is the most incredible series of experiments with pyramids ever recorded, and is the inspiration for this, my daunting and crazy quest to try to prove that pyramid energy actually exists. And it comes from the most unlikely of sources: a group of skeptics.

On June 9th, 2005, Mythbusters aired a TV episode where they attempted to "bust" pyramid power--and they claimed to have done so. But upon deeper inspection, I discovered that they did the exact opposite: their experiments showed more than ever, the real possibility that pyramid energy actually exists. I wrote up a whole article detailing my discoveries that you can read about here.

I have a theory as to why there have been many people who have claimed amazing results from their experiments with pyramids, while there have been many others who have not--and it is not simply due to random chance. I mentioned in my first blog various possible reasons why any given experiment might not produce statistically significant results--everything from supernovas to mischievous aliens. Actually, I think there are three main reasons: the pyramid isn't built precisely enough, it is not level enough, and it is not aligned accurately enough. I am pretty confident that my pyramids are built well enough, so the two biggest things I will focus on getting right at the start of this, my most noble quest, is leveling and aligning my pyramid as precisely as possible. Leveling is relatively easy to do, but the alignment is the big question for me. There are differing opinions on whether a pyramid should be aligned to true north or magnetic north. I have always leaned towards true north (like the Great Pyramid) for nonmetallic pyramids. But the late Patrick Flanagan, one of the most famous experimenters of pyramid energy, claimed that magnetic north produced more significant results. And in the Mythbusters experiments, mentioned above, their pyramids were also aligned to magnetic north with incredible results. So I will start out by doing the same.

But here is the rub: while aligning a pyramid to magnetic north is relatively easy to do using a compass, any metal that is within even a few feet of it can wildly throw it off. The Great Pyramid is aligned to true north to within 1/15th of a degree. So whether aligning to true north or magnetic north, I suspect that if it is off by more than one degree, it will significantly reduce the energy, kind of like aligning an old TV antenna. If it isn't oriented in a specific direction, the signal won't be picked up properly, and all you're going to get is random static. Hence, this is why I believe that the most likely culprit to unsuccessful experiments has to do with the pyramid being too much out of its ideal alignment. For this reason, I recently built myself what I call the Pyramid Platform, to guide and protect me on this noble quest of mine, which will allow me to make micro-adjustments to the alignment of my pyramid to within 1/100th of a degree, way more precise than even the Great Pyramid itself. And it also acts as a guide to help me easily place the sample directly in the center of the pyramid.

All right, I think I have milked the suspense as much as I possibly can about these completely unexpected results that I mentioned in my first blog, so let's get on to the actual experiment, shall we? As a true scientist (even if I don't have a PhD), one should be as detailed and specific as possible about the experimental set up, as well as the results, so here I go:

06-04-25: I am starting a new series of experiments using the Pyramid Platform. I leveled it pretty well (but not perfectly), but I had challenges aligning it to magnetic north using a compass, as when I slid it along the 24 inches of one of the north-south sides of the Pyramid Platform, the needle shifted by about 8 degrees, likely due to the metal legs of the table. So I opted instead to rely off of some old marks using the Solar Alignment Method that I did a few years back. I wasn't completely sure how accurate they were, as the magnetic north pole shifts slightly over time, but I knew they would be much more accurate than my compass in this situation.

I placed on top of the Pyramid Platform a 21" wide Giza pyramid made of 3/8" thick dowels and held together by one of my 3/8" Giza Connector Kits. I chose to use a pyramid in the dimensions of the Great Pyramid because that is what they did in the Mythbusters experiments. I then placed my two stands, made from 5+1/2" long by 1+1/2" wide cardboard tubing, one inside the pyramid in the center and one outside the pyramid:

I then placed approximately 4 grams of low fat organic yogurt in each of two 1-ounce clear plastic cups and sealed them with lids. Next, I tossed a coin to randomize which container is placed inside the pyramid to eliminate any potential unconscious bias or favoritism in placing the samples.

Then I placed each sample in its respective cardboard tube stand, with their height being equivalent to 1/3rd the height of the pyramid, at the approximate level of the so-called "King's Chamber" in the Great Pyramid, which is also the same level as was done in the Mythbusters experiments. Finally, I placed cardboard covers on top of each sample to reduce the light and to hopefully encourage mold growth.

06-11-25: Over the last 7 days, we have had a heat spell, where the weather was in the 80s and 90s. This was good, as it sped up the time period waiting for mold to appear on either or both of the samples. It wasn't that hot in the area where the experiment was, but I have done experiments in the past where the weather was in the 40s and 50s, and after three weeks, there was still no sign of mold on either sample. Not this time. You can see that there is mold in the sample outside the pyramid:

...and there is also mold on the sample inside the pyramid:

In fact, there is even more mold on the yogurt inside the pyramid. Here you can see the samples side-by-side, with the sample on the left being the one inside the pyramid:

What...the...heck? The sample on the left clearly has more mold on it. It might not be to statistically significant levels, but it is certainly obvious. Never since I have started doing pyramid experiments so many years ago, have I observed such an increase in the level of mold inside a pyramid. I have seen it the other way--and even more so--but never this way. In fact, had the samples been reversed, and the one with less mold was inside the pyramid, I would have been inclined to attribute that to the energy of the pyramid. Nevertheless, it is a good reminder that generally speaking, no single experiment can prove or disprove something like pyramid energy. One needs multiple, consistent, and statistically significant results to develop any real level of confidence.

So with this first experiment that I have ever shared with the entire world, I have had the worst results ever. KERRRRPLUMPF! (That was me doing a face plant on a pile of moldy yogurt.)

Whenever the results from an experiment don't go as expected, proper scientific protocol is to try and devise different hypotheses as to what might have cause them. I can think of four likely possibilities. One, the mold increase was simply due to random chance. Two, the mold was of a beneficial variety, akin to penicillin, that the pyramid invigorated. Three, the magnetic field of the earth was disturbed by the nearby metal and electric fields, impacting the energy of the pyramid. Or four, it was caused by something else I haven't considered. As an experimenter, it is always important to keep as open mind as possible and to consider the possibility that the results could be caused by something that hasn't been thought of. But that option doesn't help me in any way to try and revise the experiment and eliminate any hidden confounding variables. And option one--the skeptics' choice--just means pyramid energy had nothing to do with it and I am just wasting my time. And while it is important to be open to all possibilities, I have had too many experiences to dismiss pyramid energy so quickly. I think option 2 is an interesting possibility, but aside from eating the stuff and seeing if it makes me sick (not happening), I don't have a real way of test if the mold in the pyramid sample is beneficial. Which leads me to option 3.

Patrick Flanagan claimed from his experiments that it is the magnetic field of the earth that a pyramid transforms into the mysterious energy that so many people have claimed benefits from. If this is true, and if a pyramid needs to be accurately aligned with it--perhaps to less than one degree--in order to be effective, then what would happen if there is metal nearby that is distorting that field? The magnetic field, according to my compass, shifted by 8 degrees along one side. Is it possible that this had a negative influence on the pyramid? Well, this is what I am going to try and find out.

I have decided that for my next experiment, I need to have as little distortion as possible, and so because of that, I am changing everything and setting it up in a new location. I will let you know what happens next week.
