The Pyramid Platform

This page provides general links to different tools and materials that you might need in order to build your Pyramid Platform. I receive a small commission from anything you buy on Amazon, which helps to keep my business going.

Here are a few options for 24" x 24" square pieces of plywood that you can order from Home Depot with different veneers: Birch, Maple, and Red Oak.

And here is an example of a 2' x 4' MDF panel readily available at both Lowe's and Home Depot.

Here is a 3/8" brad point drill bit if you are making the full platform and will be using a 3/8" dowel in the center. Here is a 1/2" brad point drill bit if you will be using a 1/2" dowel instead.

Here is an inexpensive digital caliper accurate to 0.01" (0.2mm). For even better accuracy, consider getting this stainless steel one that is accurate to 0.001" (0.02mm).

If you will be using a ruler instead, here is a high-quality, inexpensive set with 1/64" and 0.5mm markings. And perhaps a magnifying glass to help you read it.

You can also find other tools that might be helpful in building whatever pyramids you might choose to make, including things like clamps, tape measures, squares, drill jigs, wood glue, drills, miter saws, circular saws, and much more on this page here.
