Pyramid Experiments

If you are planning to align your pyramids using a compass, this is the one that I have used the most to align my pyramids. This compass is made by Suunto, a well-known company with good reviews. Perhaps it is better. This is a sighting compass that could be more useful for larger pyramids. And this is a top-of-the-line sighting compass by Suunto.

If you need cups to place your samples in, this is an environmental option made from all-natural plastic. If you cups with lids, these are made from regular plastic.

If you are wanting to try to measure the differences in dehydration between samples inside a pyramid and outside of it, this digital scale measures in increments of 0.01g, up to 200g, which should generally be enough if you are not using large sample sizes. If you want something that can go higher with the same resolution, this scale can go up to 1000g. If you want an even higher level of precision, this scale measures in 0.001g increments, but can only go up to 50g.

For those who would like to experiment with fused-quartz "Singing Pyramids" this 6-inch one has very high reviews. If you would like a larger one, this is an 8-inch one that is less expensive and also with good reviews. And this is an 11-inch one by the same company. And finally, here is a link to a company with decent reviews that sells them all of the way up to 20 inches.

For those who are interested in creating a grid of pyramids to test placing objects above them, this company offers 10 small quartz pyramids for a decent price. They also sell amethyst pyramids, as well as black tourmaline, both of which are also piezoelectric.
