Foundation, Leveling, Squaring, and Alignment

This page provides general links to different tools and materials that you might need in order to set up and align your pyramid. I receive a small commission from anything you buy on Amazon, which helps to keep my business going.

This is the compass that I have used the most to align my pyramids. This compass is made by Suunto, a well-known company with good reviews. Perhaps it is better. This is a sighting compass that could be more useful for larger pyramids. And this is a top-of-the-line sighting compass by Suunto.

Here is an inexpensive but decent digital protractor made from ABS plastic. And here is the stainless steel version of that.

If you are using the Solar Alignment Method and you need a plumb bob, this is a highly rated one.

If you don't have a level, here are a few options: a 12" level, an 18" level, and a 24" level. The longer the level, the more accurate it will likely be. Here are also two links for laser levels (which can make leveling so much easier): an inexpensive one, and a more expensive one with higher ratings.

You can also find other tools that might be helpful in building whatever pyramids you might choose to make, including things like clamps, tape measures, squares, drill jigs, wood glue, drills, miter saws, circular saws, and much more on this page here.
