The Ra collective has stated that the ideal dimensions for a pyramid would be where the height equals 1, and the perimeter equals 1.16. This translates to an extremely steep pyramid, almost like a steeple. Ra has admitted on occasion that they have occasionally made mathematical statements in error due to translation issues. While they did not say this was the case for this specific statement, I have to wonder whether they meant to say that the ideal dimensions of a pyramid would be where the height equals 1, and each side equals 1.16. This translates to a pyramid with a 59.88° slope angle which creates a cross section that is almost a perfect equilateral triangle. They have also recommended that pyramids should have an apex angle of less than 70°. With an apex angle of 60.24°, it is well below that threshold. I offer connector kits for 3/8" (9.5mm) dowels in both this revised version, as well as the steeper version for you to choose from. Printed with 100% all-natural plant-based PLA, this 5-piece kit connects eight 3/8" (9.5mm) wooden dowel rods (not included) together with an approximate slope angle of 59.9°. The four rising dowels are slightly longer than the four bottom ones. To calculate the length of the bottom dowels, multiply the length of the rising ones by 0.897. So for example, if your rising dowels are 16", then your bottom dowels would be 14+3/8". If they are 24", then your bottom dowels would be 21+1/2". If 36", then 32+5/16". If 48", then 43+1/16". Make sure they are as straight as possible. Easily assembled, your pyramid should be placed upon a flat and level surface. If you find any of the dowel rods fit loosely in the holes, add a layer or two of tape to stiffen them up. Use for experiments, including testing to see if it can energize water, preserve food, grow larger sprouts, invigorate garden seeds, enhance the flavors of foods, and even sharpen razor blades!

Ideally, align your pyramid to either true north or magnetic north. After assembling, refer to the Alignment page for specific details.

These connector pieces are made from 100% all-natural, plant-based PLA. While they can handle being outside in the weather just fine, they could potentially warp in extremely hot weather if left out in the direct sun for prolonged periods of time. Partial shade should be fine.

While these connector pieces are usually in the color that is pictured, they could be in a different color, depending upon the availability of the PLA. I strive to ship out my products within three days at the most, but I cannot guarantee how long it will take USPS to deliver it to you. Usually, it will arrive within about a week from when you order it, but sometimes it can take up to three weeks for USPS to deliver it if there is some sort of delay on their end.

Please be sure to recycle any packaging. If it came in plastic wrapping, bubble wrap, including a plastic bubble wrap envelope, they can all be recycled with your plastic bags at local grocery stores like Walmart and Safeway.
